ScarsSometimes, when a wound heals, it leaves a little mark of tissue that stands out among the rest of it's surroundings.Scars
These scars are a remnant of the damage we have sustained through hours, days, months, years, or decades of hard time served in a world unfriendly to the nature of our being.
A cut here, a burn there, and , inch by inch, we begin to look more like our wounds.
The mere infliction caused by the things we hated, or loved only to find out later that we hated it all along, slowly begins to define who we are.
